Established in 1989, the first ShBoom opened in Cupertino, with the second following in Pleasanton in 1991.

In 2006 the Pleasanton venue relocated to San Ramon.

I.D. POLICY

ShBoom strictly adheres to the regulations put forth by the California Alcohol Beverage Control regarding regarding entrance into nightclubs. EVERYONE must show valid identification. Failure to produce identification MAY result in refusal of entry. The list of items, though not limited to, are not accepted: Expired or punched IDs; DMV computer printouts; non-US passports, IDs, or drivers licenses; international student IDs; photocopies of IDs; birth certificates. False and/or counterfeit IDs will be confiscated and turned over to the local police department. ShBoom reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone.

  • No sports attire or logoed apparel
  • No T-Shirts, long or short sleeve, of any kind
  • Collared shirt required
  • No hoodies or sweatshirts
  • No shorts, sandals or flip-flops
  • No sneakers, gym shoes, hiking/walking shoes or any shoe designed to look like one. i.e. no dress sneakers
  • No baggy or loose fitting clothing
  • No sunglasses inside unless prescription
  • Jeans are okay as long as there are no holes and fit properly

WOMEN:

  • No sports attire or logoed apparel
  • No sweat suit outfits or sweatshirts
  • No sneakers, gym shoes, hiking/walking shoes
  • No overly revealing clothing
